6 TIPS TO HELP YOU DECIDE WHO GETS TO CELEBRATE THE DAY WITH YOU
1. CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE
Your venue choice will determine your guest numbers. If you venue allows a maximum of a 100 people, you have your maximum number of guests you can invite.
2. BUDGET
Once you know how many people your chosen venue allows, you can determine how many people your budget allows for. Calculate in the cost to feed your guest & the cost of providing drinks.
3. MAKE LISTS SEPARATELY
Now that you’ve determined the maximum number of people you can invite, you and your partner should each sit down separately and make your own preliminary guest list.
4. REVIEW
Sit down together and discuss each other’s lists. You should have a “YES” and a “MAYBE” category. “YES” for the people that absolutely must be invited and “MAYBE” for the people you wouldn’t miss too much if they weren’t there with you. The “YES” category would be someone you see on a regular basis and you can’t imagine your special day without them. The “MAYBE” category would be those who are important to you but you can still have an amazing day without them.
5. CONFIRM THE FINAL NUMBERS
Now that you have your 2 categories, confirm your guest list number against the budget. From here you can assess if you are good to go or if you need to reduce the number of people. Have your “MAYBE” list handy as not every invited guest might be able to accept your Cyprus wedding invitation. 6. REVISE THE LIST
